Personal IDT Interest
- The students in the department are really cool.
- The teachers are nice & helpful
- The wide array of classes are really cool.
- The programs are the most interesting thing to me
- Dreamweaver for example was really helpful because I did a Computer Science class my Freshman year. The program we used named JGrasp was kind of old and did not really help beginner users but Dreamweaver does and gives insight on where you might have messed up.
- Lectora is another interesting program I’ve used in IDT. I hear we might continue to use it which is not bad news. It is very simple and allows for creativity.
- Gamesalad is pretty good but it has a lot of problems at least to me anyway. The program tends to shut down randomly, or an unknown bug could show up and ruin your program. That happened to me last semester to the point I had to redo my project at least twice.
- I’ve heard about Maya & Strata and its difficulty I guess I have to cross that road when I get there.
